Automatically generated technical information
To provide and protect the website, our hosting services may record necessary logs including IP address, browser and device type, access time, requested and referring pages, error records and approximate location. We do not currently use this information for cross-site behavioural advertising or sensitive profiling.
Cookies and similar technologies
The website may use technologies necessary for page delivery, security and form operation. If we introduce non-essential analytics, personalisation or advertising cookies, we will provide prior information and consent choices where required by applicable law and update this policy accordingly.
03
Purposes and Legal Bases
- To respond to enquiries, arrange product demonstrations, assess dealer partnerships and provide requested services, based on performance of a contract or steps taken before entering into a contract.
- To send brand, product and event information with your consent. You may unsubscribe at any time; withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
- To operate and secure the website, prevent misuse, diagnose faults and improve services, based on our legitimate interests after balancing those interests against your rights.
- To comply with tax, audit, regulatory, dispute-resolution and other applicable legal obligations.
We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects solely through automated processing.
05
Retention and Security
We retain information only for as long as needed to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, maintain a business relationship, resolve disputes and meet legal requirements. General enquiries, demo requests and partnership applications are ordinarily retained for no more than three years after the last substantive contact. Marketing subscription records are retained until you unsubscribe, after which we keep only the minimum record needed to prevent further messages. Security logs are ordinarily retained for no more than ninety days unless the law requires otherwise or a security incident remains under investigation.
We use administrative, technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature and risk of the information, including access controls, transmission protection, least-privilege access and service-provider management. No internet transmission is completely secure and we cannot promise zero risk. If a security incident requires notification, we will take appropriate action and notify affected individuals or authorities in accordance with applicable law.
06
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to information and access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to processing, data portability, withdrawal of consent, and appeal of our decisions. You may object to direct marketing at any time, after which we will stop the relevant marketing processing.
Where the CCPA/CPRA applies, California residents may also request the categories, sources, purposes, recipients and specific items of personal information, request deletion or correction, and exercise their rights without discrimination. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, we do not currently provide a “Do Not Sell or Share” choice. We nevertheless recognise applicable Global Privacy Control signals.
You may appoint an authorised agent to submit a request. To protect information, we may verify identity or authority in proportion to the risk of the request. Legal exceptions may limit certain requests; where applicable, we will explain a refusal and available appeal process. Users in the European Union or United Kingdom may also complain to their local data-protection authority.
07
Children’s Privacy
This website serves the professional cinema and imaging industry and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16, or sell or share information relating to anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us so that it can be deleted.
08
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, technology or legal obligations. Material changes will be identified prominently on this page and, where required by law, separately notified or submitted for renewed consent. The date at the top of the page shows the latest update.
