In April 2025, ELYSAS brought the MUSE PRIME large-format cinema-prime series to Las Vegas for its global public debut at NAB Show 2025. After years of development, the system was presented directly to international cinematographers, camera teams, rental specialists, and production professionals.
Everything Begins with Image Character
ELYSAS believes sharpness is a foundation of image quality, not the end goal of cinema-lens design. MUSE PRIME begins with image character, preserving the resolution and reliability modern cameras require while creating a natural, continuous, and immersive sense of depth.
Five-Zone Image Evaluation studies the plane of focus, foreground and background defocus, the image center, and the off-axis field. It forms the basis of Melted Bokeh—not more blur for its own sake, but a controlled balance of in-focus detail, defocus structure, and spatial transition.
Seven Focal Lengths, One Complete System
The initial series includes 25, 32, 40, 50, 75, and 100 mm lenses at T1.8, plus a 135 mm T2.8 Macro with true 1:1 capability. Every focal length was developed for large-format cinematography and is available in PL or LPL mount.
A 95 mm front diameter, 86 mm filter thread, consistent gear positions, and lightweight mechanics support handheld, gimbal, drone, and conventional cinema-camera configurations.
From Public Debut to Real Production
NAB Show moved MUSE PRIME from internal development into public view. Feedback from cinematographers and production teams on focal-length coverage, handling, weight, and image character became an important part of the system’s final refinement before production.
