Everything Begins with Image Character
More creators are recognizing that the character of an image cannot be defined by a single technical metric. Through Five-Zone Image Evaluation, Melted Bokeh measures foreground defocus, the plane of focus, background defocus, the image center, and the off-axis field. These relationships guide the balance of aberrations and create a more immersive connection between subject, background, and space.
MUSE PRIME preserves the detail expected of modern optics while drawing inspiration from the natural, gentle defocus of vintage fast lenses. Its smooth rendering, with a subtle tendency toward rotational movement in the background, allows the subject to emerge naturally and keeps attention on the story.
Lightweight Design and Large-Format Character
Lightweight construction was a core objective from the beginning. By optimizing the optics, mechanics, materials, and manufacturing processes as a complete system, ELYSAS keeps every lens below 0.9 kg while retaining a 95 mm front diameter and professional cinema mechanics.
The series supports large-format cinema systems and covers the FUJIFILM GFX GF 16:9 image area. A consistent T1.8 aperture from 25 mm through 100 mm works with Melted Bokeh to create strong subject separation and a natural sense of spatial depth.
One Lens, One Signature
Beyond the standard production version, MUSE PRIME is available with one-to-one customization. Subject to technical evaluation, exterior finish, perceived sharpness, contrast, flare behavior, bokeh, and coating characteristics can be tailored on the established MUSE PRIME optical and mechanical platform—turning a personal visual direction into a repeatable, long-term creative tool.
